Société générale, 2016
This project entails designing three restaurant spaces on the new campus of Société Générale in Val-de-Fontenay. October 2016 (Architecture AAD).
On this first collaboration, the idea was to take into account the business world, social changes, trends, wishes, and work methods in the digital era.
Managing the flow of 5,000 people, density, and the immense size of the spaces – as in Andreas Gursky's pictures – was the primary challenge.
My role on this project, as a designer, entails streamlining, logic, and common sense with a view to designing human-scale living spaces. I tried to give the three restaurants a certain scale that incorporates various scenarios such as conversations over meals, intimacy, as well as comfort and quality of the setting.
It's an exciting adventure!
