Harmony & Bouchardé
Concrete LCDA, 2018
Designing a new concrete panel is a delicate exercise. The very nature of the material inspired me to design unconventional patterns.
With Harmony, it took several experiments to achieve a perfect balance between full and void: a true and new style of rhythms that vibrate and depict a landscape on a large scale.
For Bouchardé, I wanted the concrete to have an artisanal feel as though molded by human hands, giving it an uneven aspect.
Panbeton panels look fascinating, sumptuous and always different inside a building, depending on the light. It is precisely the diversity of the various random designs that make the exercise exciting!
